Angelina Jaimes Rios, 85, of Kerrville, passed away on October 22, 2024, surrounded by her family.
At the age of 17, Angelina married the love of her life, Benjamin Rios, and shortly after, they started a family of their own.
Angelina worked as a nurse’s aide taking care of others for many, many years. Angie was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church. She enjoyed her weekly trips to the store but over all, her favorite thing was to be surrounded by her family listening and dancing to music.
Angelina was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Rios; her parents, Felix and Angelina Jaimes; her son, Randy Rios; and her siblings, Delores, Olivia, Frances, Willie and Mary.
Survivors include her children, Pat Rios, Jason Rios and Alice, Benjamin and Michelle Rios, James and Sandra Rios; along with 12 grandkids; 47 great-grandkids; and 15 great-great-grandkids.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Rosary will be held at 8:30 AM, followed by Mass at 9:00 AM, on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Richard Rodriguez, Randy Rios, Jameson Rios, Tony Montoya, Hayden Rodriguez, Este Rodriguez and honorary pallbearer, Stephen Rodriguez.
