It is with deep regrets that we share the passing of Robert Wayne Willmott, of San Antonio, Texas, on October 17, 2024. Bob or Bear, as he was affectionately called by his friends and family, was born February 5, 1940, in Ft. Collins, Colorado to Robert Wayne Willmott Sr. and Dorothy Willmott. Dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend, Bob loved people and knew no strangers. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, reading, and listening to Classic Country music. He would devote every morning to reading the Bible and Native fiction and non-fiction books and Westerns. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served in the Navy. His absence will be felt forever by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace, we love you.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Dorothy Willmott and sibling, Cheryl Blackman.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; daughter, Wendy Amsden and Evelyn Stanley. Bob's grandchildren include Shandy Amsden, Zachary Amsden, Savannah Amsden, Robert DeLaRosa, Joshua DeLaRosa, Stephanie DeLaRosa and Tabitha Stanley. His great-grandchildren include London Thomas, Carl Stanley, Aerabelle Johnson, Daisy Reyna.

"From your niece, Virginia: Rest in peace, Uncle Bob. I will regret it visiting more often, as will Elaine (Alberta), your loving sister. She will meet up with you in heaven and the three of you siblings will once again be together. You have raised a strong family who will miss you deeply, but they will carry on your legacy of love and friendship. My condolences to those who must endure a future without you."
