Edward Sergio Maldonado, 56, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on November 16, 2024, surrounded by his family. Edward Maldonado was born in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, the son of Edilberto and Concepcion Maldonado on September 25, 1968. Edward Maldonado married Alma on November 14, 1998, in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. They were married 26 years.

Edward Maldonado went to school at Tivy High School, then went on to attend Schreiner College in Kerrville, TX.

Edward Maldonado owned and operated Maldonado Nursery & Landscape in Kerrville, TX for a total of 26 years but worked alongside his father in the business soon outside of college.

Edward Maldonado was preceded in death by his father, Edilberto Maldonado.

Survivors include his loving wife, Alma Delia Maldonado; sons, Kevin D. Maldonado (Madison), Edward J. Maldonado, and Wesley G Maldonado; mother, Concepcion Maldonado; brother, Jaime A. Maldonado; and sister, Maria Lourdes Scott.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, TX.

Edward S. Maldonado will be remembered as a faithful servant of God.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, and Peterson Hospice for taking such great care of Edward.

We would also like to thank family and friends for the support shown to Edward through thoughts and prayers throughout his years of illness.
