Lloyd Steven (Steve) Rawlins, age 74, of Kerrville, passed away on December 2, 2024, in Kerrville. He was born in Yuma, Arizona to Lloyd George (Jack) Rawlins and Dora Denman Rawlins on March 25, 1950. He married Ruth Jonette Taylor on October 16, 1993 in Kerrville, Texas.
He went to school in Coweta, Oklahoma. He graduated from Riverside City College in Riverside, Missouri. He worked various jobs over the years and retired from Scott Schreiner Municipal Golf Course in 2018. He was a member of Live Oak Church of Christ in Kerrville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Jonette Taylor; his parents, Lloyd George (Jack) Rawlins and Dora Denman Rawlins; a brother, Gary Lawrence Rawlins; a sister, Nancy Carol Rawlins; and a niece. Sommer Dawn Burke.
Survivors include brothers, Ricky Dale Rawlins and wife Karen, Perry Dean Rawlins and wife Debbie and Floyd Michael Rawlins; sisters, Sheryl Ann Simpson and husband Robert, Janet Kay Logue and husband Richard and Cathy Sue Quinton and husband David; a cat named Fluffy; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Live Oak Church of Christ in Kerrville, Texas, with Todd Reichert officiating.
