John Edward Cantwell, age 71, of Kerrville, passed away on December 3, 2024, after a hospital stay.
Born to Darrel and Alene Cantwell on October 3, 1953, he was a Tivy High School graduate.
He married Debbie Lang on November 5, 1988, and they were married for 36 years.
John is survived by his wife, Debbie and four children, Jeremy Cantwell and wife, Sarah, Melanie Bopp, Aaron Cantwell and wife, Jennifer, Amanda Cantwell and fiancé, Cody Walleck; brothers, Richard Cantwell and wife, Donna of Georgetown, Charlie Cantwell of Mason and Bill Cantwell and wife, Nancy of Harper; seven grandchildren, Marisa Bopp, Lauren Bopp, Chloe Chavarria, Stanton Cantwell, Axel Cantwell, Owen Cantwell and Brand Cantwell. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Josie Lang and sister and brother-in-law, Wade and Sharon Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrel and Alene Cantwell and sister-in-law, Sharron Cantwell.
Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Monday, December 9, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Rev. David Billeiter.
