Bobbi Lynn Vela, 56, of Comfort, Texas, peacefully passed on December 13, 2024, at her daughter's home in Center Point, Texas. She was born in Fairfax, Virginia to James Allen Orr and Bonnie Jean Whitacre on August 6, 1968. She married Luis Gallegos.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Gallegos; father-in-law, Pedro Gallegos Sr.; grandmother, Maxine Shanholtzer; and father, James Allen Orr.
Survived by her husband, Luis Gallegos; daughters, Jessica Roque and husband Robert Roque and Amanda Vela; sons, Luis Gallegos Jr., Adrian Gallegos, Rigoberto Aguilares, Lonnie Vela Jr., Jerry Vela, Carlos Vela and Antonio; brothers, Denny Orr and wife Annette Orr, Jeff Orr and Gregory Orr; sisters, Elizabeth Perez, Celena Snyder and husband Albert Snyder; mother, Bonnie Jean Gonzalez and stepfather, Armando Gonzalez; mother-in-law, Esperanza Gallegos; grandchildren, Xavier Roque, Zayden Roque, Kaleb Gallegos and Parker Gallegos. She leaves behind many in-laws and 15 nieces and 19 nephews.
Visitation/Rosary will be held Monday, December 16, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Memorial Service with cremation to follow Tuesday, December 17, 2024, 10:00 AM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
