Henry M. Lopez Sr., 81, passed away on January 16, 2025, in San Antonio, TX. He was born in San Antonio to Manuel G. Lopez and Alberta M. Lopez on December 25,1943.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Navy where he was awarded the Navy Achievement medal, Navy E ribbon, Fifth Good Conduct award, Navy Expeditionary medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary medal, 3 Humanitarian Service medals, Republic of Vietnam unit citation, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal.

Henry was preceded in death by Gilbert M. Lopez, Maria E. Munoz Lopez, Rosa M. Lopez, Manuel M. Lopez, Lucy M. Lopez, Alex M. Lopez, Martha M. Lopez, Anthony R. Lopez, Rita J. Lopez, Esther Perez and Treasure Lopez.

Survivors include: Carrie Rodriguez, Lisa Lopez, Henry M. Lopez Jr., and Melinda D. Lopez, Jose L. Lopez and Joanna M. Lopez, Annie Foster, Alex Peck and Priscilla Peck, Tony M. Lopez, Camilo M. Lopez, Nancy Lopez, Polly Lopez, and Frank Lopez.

Services will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels on January 28, 2025. Visitation will begin at 9 am, followed by the Rosary at 11 am. Burial will be held at Noon at Guadalupe Cemetery.
