"I knew Robert for a number of years in our local walking club, the Kerrville Trailblazers. Robert was so knowledgeable about the American Volkssport Association and the Texas Volkssport Association of which he was a member for many years. He helped me countless times in learning about the local walks in Kerr County and helped to make the walks and the events our club hosted to be better. He loves walking on trails and volkssporting. I often wondered how many thousands of miles Robert walked over the years. I know he will be greatly missed by his many friends in the AVA and TVA. I'm sorry I didn't hear about Robert's Rosary, so didn't attend. Blessings to his friends and family."
