Jeanette Duda Meeker, 86, of Albion, Pennsylvania, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, in Kerrville, Texas. She was born on December 13, 1938, in Albion, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Agnes Remek Duda. She married John W. Meeker on August 31,1957, in Albion, Pennsylvania.
Jeanette graduated from Albion High School. She was a bookkeeper at Northwestern High School for 37 years, Texas Department of Corrections payroll for 3 years, and the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections for 3 years.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Agnes Duda, and husband, John W. Meeker.
She is survived by her children, Mark Meeker, Patricia Fifer and spouse Wayne, Brian Meeker and spouse Rhonda; siblings, Tom Duda, Marge Ruland, Grace Black, Judy Wickwire and Jim Duda; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be scheduled in the future at Albion Cemetery.
