Kathryn Elizabeth Morgan, 89, of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Kerrville. She was born April 4, 1936, in Vealmoor, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Wallace Morgan, Jr.; parents, John and Helen Frizzell; son, John Anthony Morgan; grandson, Corey Morgan; two brothers, John William Frizzell and Lloyd Gerald Frizzell; four sisters, Ora Jane Colbert, Helen Odean Lashley, Annie Marie Kepler and Ada Mae Frizzell.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Bernhard and husband David, Sharon Morgan and partner Mike Mathis; one son, Walter Wallace Morgan III; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She loved family, sewing and making gifts, family history and the Houston Astros. She was fiercely patriotic and made many quilts to send to wounded service members. She baked dozens of cookies to send to active duty all over the world.
Burial will be at Pipe Creek Cemetery, date and time to be determined.
