Frank Robinson, 65, of Comfort, Texas, passed away on April 20, 2026.

Frank was born and raised in Comfort, Texas. He married Tracy Robinson on June 1, 2013, in Rockport, Texas—a place that meant a lot to him over the years.

Frank worked as a Construction Superintendent—often acting as the one running the job—for Metropolitan Contracting Company for more than 15 years. He was hands-on, straightforward, and not afraid to speak his mind.

Frank was a man who lived life exactly how he wanted to. He carried a tough exterior, but those who knew him understood there was much more to him than that. He was unapologetically himself, with a strong personality and a way of doing things his own way. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on projects, fixing things, and staying busy. He loved heading to the coast to fish, and he truly valued his time with friends and family—especially when it meant sitting back, having a drink, and enjoying the moment.

He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnne Robinson, and his father, William Robinson.

Frank is survived by his wife, Tracy Robinson; his brother, Dennis Robinson and spouse, William Garret-Robinson; his step-daughters, Adriana Villanueva, Andrea Muniz, and Korrina Muniz; and his granddaughters, Delylah Valenzuela, Jessinia Valenzuela, and Athena Escalera. He is also survived by extended family, including cousins Ronny and Suzie Schott.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Magnolia Hospice – Hopeton House in San Antonio, as well as Nancy Calderon, Norma, Lety, and Jesus Moreno for their care and support.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be invited to join in remembrance.
