Memorial services for Cayetano “Al” Camus III, 81, of Kerrville, who passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, in Kerrville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Burial will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
"I met Al in 1985 when I started a job at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Wow! We had a lot of fun and great laughs together.. Always loved listening to his stories of life’s adventures and admired his dreaming/next step thinking. He was ALWAYS available for a conversation and the call usually ended with me smiling. 😊 My condolences to the family and Al had a couple of great friends in SD that cared about and loved him.."
