Wayne Arnold Parker, 83 years of Kerrville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 6, 2026, in Kerrville, TX. He was born in Brady, TX to Clarence Arnold “Dick” Parker and Clarice Kelso Parker on October 7, 1942. He married Patricia “Pat” Walker in Vernon, TX.

Wayne was raised on the “Brady Creek Ranch” spending his youth working cattle with his dad. He graduated from Brady High School and attended San Angelo College. He loved his college years and could tell stories for hours of some of the antics pulled during those two years. 

Wayne was a homebuilder for over 45 years in Kerrville and Brady, TX

Wayne was preceded in death by Clarence “Dick” Parker and Clarice Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Parker, Kerrville, TX; son, Chad Parker, Kerrville, TX; son, Shane Parker and wife Julie of Highland Village, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Parker, Bailey Parker, Anna Strickland, Mason Parker, Logan Parker and Sean Strickland.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Tuesday June 9th at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Graveside services will be held at 10AM, June 10th at Glen Rest Cemetery with Del Way officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chad Parker, Shane Parker, Mason Parker, Logan Parker, Sean Strickland, and Clemente Flores.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be given to Calvary Temple Church-School Backpack Program, Calvary Temple Church-Food Pantry or charity of your choice.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to: Rodney Bacon, Walker Bacon, Clemente Flores, Larry Richter, Peterson Hospital ER nurses Heidi and Leah, Peterson Hospice, Dr. John Davis and Dr. John Nelson.
