Cora Belle (Mansfield) Nunn, 90, of Kerrville, passed away on August 29, 2026, in Kerrville. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Frank and Ruby Mansfield on August 3, 1936. She married John Nunn on April 14, 1962, at First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville.
She went to high school in Bandera, Texas and graduated from University of Texas School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital as well as for several doctor’s offices. She was involved with several organizations including the First Presbyterian Church, Kerrville State Hospital, and was a Dietert Center clown for many years. She enjoyed playing the piano at several nursing homes in Kerrville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John R Nunn; her brother, Donald Mansfield; and her parents, Frank and Ruby Mansfield.
Survivors include her son, J. M. Nunn and his wife, Stacy Nunn. Also, grandchildren, Georgia Nunn and Jake Nunn.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., September 8, 2026, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., September 9, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church, followed by a graveside ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at the Bandera Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Dietert Center in Kerrville, Texas.
