Patricia A. Adams was born in Crystal City, Tx. Nov. 5th, 1941. She's been a resident in San Antonio Tx. since 1989. Sadly, Patricia passed away September 30th 2026. leaving behind a lifetime of beautiful memories, laughter, and an immeasurable amount of love.

On October 19, 1963, Patricia married the love of her life, 1st Lieutenant Sam Adams. USMC. Together, they built a beautiful life and family and shared nearly 63 years of marriage.

Patricia was the proud and loving mother of two daughters, Juanita Rae Raiford, her husband Aubrey Raiford and Lisa Copeland and husband Lindell Copeland. To her family, she was so much more than a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the heart of the family-the most beautiful, funny, loving, and unforgettable woman they could have ever asked for.

Patricia loved to laugh, joke, dance, sing and listen to music. She loved her family and friends deeply and had a way of filling life with happiness wherever she went. She was beautiful and classy, with a wonderful sense of humor and a love for life that those around her will never forget. She laughed often, loved fiercely, and lived a beautiful life filled with the people who meant the most to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Elizabeth Ray, and her beloved grandson,
Patrick Adam Copeland.

Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, Col. Sam Adams, USMC (Ret.); her daughters, Juanita Rae Raiford and Lisa Copeland; her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister; her niece; and many family members and friends who were blessed to know and love her.

Her family will forever carry the sound of her laughter, the joy of her dancing, the warmth of her jokes, and the memories of her playing tennis, cards, and countless moments shared together. They will remember her beauty, grace, strength, and, above all, the extraordinary love she gave so freely. Patricia was a devoted wife, a cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a truly beautiful soul whose presence made life brighter for everyone who knew her.

Though her family will miss her more deeply than words can express, her love will never leave them. It will live on in every story they tell, every laugh they share. Patricia's life was a gift, and her love will continue to surround her family-steady, unbroken, and without end.
