Robert Sansom Welborn, a Christian, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Kerrville, at the age of 84. He was born on August 24, 1939 in Ft. Worth, TX to Robert Thomas and Lucy Wagner Welborn. He married Patricia Ann Ferris on May 12, 1970 in Ft. Worth.

Bob went to school at Paschal High School and Texas Tech University. He was a Captain in the Marine Corps and a Vietnam veteran. He also worked in real estate.

He loved all 15 of his English Bulldogs, all his dirt bikes he raced, and his road bikes. Bob started playing drums in high school and bought his last set last March. Corvettes were always around. His spare time was spent reading.

He lived in California, Arkansas, New Mexico and Texas with many trips in the motor home. We lived in one for three years between states. He loved life and his family and friends.

Graveside services will be held privately.
