What a shock it was for us to hear that Alan had passed. IF it hadn't been for this caring man, I don't know what we would have done to get all the benefits that our mother received after Dad passed. Alan processed all her paperwork and we could always call him and ask questions and he was right there to give us an answer. We don't have a local VSO rep in our area, but his sweet daughter is now trying to find us one..guess the kindness runs in the family. Alan, you will be missed by so many people. Maybe the Good Lord has you working with Vets up there in heaven.

My husband called the Vet Center today to see if Alle was going to be there this week. We were shocked to find that Allen had suddenly passed away on the 19th of January. I cannot begin to put into words how much Allen has come to mean to us in the 10 years we have lived in this area. We had no idea who to talk to about our frustrations with the VA process for disability. He walked with us the entire way and got my husband everything he deserved. He was a gracious, and kind vet and took care of all his brothers and sisters in arms. I personally have never known another human being with so much passion for his calling. Sir, we salute you and love you and will never say goodbye but we will say see you on the other side. Peace and love to your supportive family.

Thank you for helping my son. When he came home from Iraq you helped him and myself get him his benefits. You were a hero at helping others. God is happy today with you by his side. But many are sad with boots that aren't likely to be filled again.

My condolences to Mr. Hill’s family. A thank you
to Mr. Alan for his assistance in processing my
brother’s documents in ‘17. He would not take
payment, told me if I wanted to, to buy him
postage which I gladly did. And because of him
my dad and two brothers names are etched on
bricks outside the center. RIP. 🇺🇸

The service from Alan Hill will never be forgotten from the continued memories by you, your family, friends and brothers. Please keep him in your heart and always cherish the service he provided for all of us to live comfortably and enjoy our beautiful country. I am heartbroken; Alan was like a big brother and father to me. He and the Vietnam Veterans of the Texas Hill Country generously helped me help thousands of children with disabilities. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that this world will be a lesser place without him.

Alan was the cornerstone of the Veteran Community without him so many Veterans would not be receiving the help they need. Alan's great heart and soul centered on helping every Veteran he could, in Vietnam 3 tours, and he succeeded. A tremendous lost to everyone and in my family of three disabled Veterans. God bless you, Alan. Another bright star has left this world to his greater reward in heaven, where Alan surely is. Condolences to his family. We will all miss you my friend and pray for you. My husband died Dec 25 and now he has a good friend next to him. My heart is now empty of two tremendous Warriors!
