Amber Michelle Burke, born March 3, 1979, of Kerrville, TX, passed away on March 13, 2023. She is survived by daughters, Kaya and Kaylee Burke. Amber has joined her husband, David Shane Burke, for eternity.

Amber is also survived by her father, John Wilson; mother, Kimberly Wilson; and sister, Crystal Chighizola. Amber grew up with her family moving from San Antonio, where she was born, to Misawa, Japan and then to New Braunfels. She met her husband and they started their family in New Braunfels, and then moved to Kerrville.

Amber is also survived by her niece, Samantha Limon and great-niece, Freja. These beautiful souls were more like daughter and granddaughter to Amber. She loved them so.

Her newest love was her grandbabies, Daisy and Bryden. Memee will always be missed and forever remembered by her grandchildren.

If you asked Amber, she would tell you her greatest accomplishment in life was her girls, Kaya and Kaylee. She worked hard to give them the best life she could. She loved them with her whole heart, and all their friends too.
Amber's ashes will be intermingled with her husband's and placed in the roots of an apple tree. Amber and Shane's presence in the Earth will be a lasting and growing memory for all who loved them.

Please join Amber's family for a celebration of her life on April 1, 2023. It will be held at the Riverside Nature Center, 150 Francisco Lemos, Kerrville, TX 78028 from 10:30-11:45 AM. In honor of Amber's life, a Memorial Butterfly Release will be held during the celebration. The family asks that you dress comfortably and bring your favorite picture and story to share.
