Steven D. Guest of Kerrville, Texas (formerly of Dallas, Texas and Roosevelt, Utah) passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 74. He was born in Weslaco, Texas on April 15, 1948 to Johnie and Theda Guest.

Steven was a master wood carver, builder, and craftsman working on many homes in his lifetime, including a Charles Dilbeck designed home in Westlake, Texas which was featured in 360 West magazine and the Dallas Morning News. He will be remembered for his care and attention to detail in all of his work.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Johnie and Theda Guest.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Guest Farnsworth-Stratton (Craig); his grandchildren, Ray Steven Farnsworth (Rosie), Rachel Farnsworth Landry (Tyson), and Reece Farnsworth (Samantha); two great-grandsons, Eli and Kash Landry; his brother Johnie Lee Guest (Sydna); his niece, Linda Guest-Vincensini (Pierre-Louis); his nephew, Mark Guest (Eva); his ex-wife, Patsy Calder and her children and grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Scott and Kelly Bradley for their long-time kindness and friendship to Steven, as well as thanks to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville for their help and support to Steven's family during this difficult time.

Steven was cremated and memorial services are pending.
