Curtis Lee Grantham, age 40, passed away very unexpectedly at his home in Kerrville, Texas on October 1, 2023.

Curtis was born into a large family with many sisters and brothers to Virginia Nell King and Lee Curtis Grantham on May 20, 1983 in Jackson, Tennessee.

Tennessee was where Curtis spent the first part of his life. He talked about spending time with family including aunts, uncles and many cousins. Towards the end of his first marriage, he relocated to Texas and in 2015. Curtis met his soul mate, Robbin Nichols and became an instant father figure to her two children. They went on to have two more sons of their own. Curtis had been given a second chance to be the family man and father he always wanted to be. Curtis was always buying the kids something or looking for new adventures to take them on. Curtis frequently took the family fishing and they especially loved their trips to the beach. He was nothing short of a big kid himself. Curtis may be gone, but they will always remain a family.

Curtis is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Nell King; father, Lee Curtis Grantham; and first born, a son, Deavon Craig Grantham.

He is survived by his soul mate, Robbin Lynn Nichols; a daughter, Hailey Jane; and a son, Curtis Lee, Jr. (CJ) from his first marriage. Three sons, Ryider Lee, age 7, Raydin Wayne, age 5; a step son, Ryan Levi; and step daughter, Ryleigh Renee, age 10, which all trully adored him dearly; and many extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 4, 2023, at CTEN (Commission to Every Nation) Building.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
