Dorothy F. Hamilton, 92, of Kerrville, Texas, passed peacefully away in her sleep on October 15, 2023. She was born in North Platte, Nebraska to Earl and Ethel Smith. She was married to Lowell Hamilton of Richmond, Indiana.

Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joys were the grandchildren. Dorothy was a teacher in her early years and a business owner in Kerrville. She and her husband had the Hill Country Bakery for more than 20 years.

She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Survivors include her son, John and Nina Hamilton; daughter, Beth Gordon; as well as many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
