Memorial Mass for Mary Kathleen McGougan, 88, of Kerrville, who passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, in a local hospital, will be held at 10 AM, Monday, December 11, 2023, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father David Wagner as celebrant. Rosary will precede the Mass at 9:30 AM, officiated by Deacon Sonny Kaufhold.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 11, 2023 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, officiated by Deacon Jimmy Bill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities, https://www.ccaosa.org/.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.

I loved singing and talking with with Mrs. McGougan. So many fond memories ! She always had her bright smile. She would talk to me about her years in the school system, about music, her grandchildren, etc...
I also remember her on Halloween passing out candy while we walked the neighborhood.
May she rest in God's eternal peace.
