Betty Crocker of Kerrville, Texas, passed away December 6, 2023, in Kerrville. She was born August 4, 1938, in Brackettville, Texas, before spending her youth in Arkansas.

As you would expect, she received much ribbing for her name but took it well. She was popular and known for her beauty and was Homecoming Queen and Football Queen in her high school years at Blytheville High School. She moved to Memphis and later to Houston, Texas where she was a long-time employee of GMAC. After retirement, she moved to Kerrville, Texas until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeff; and daughter, Kimberley; as well as brothers, Billy Eugene, Larry and Gary Crocker.

Left to cherish their memories is her daughter, Tanya Moschetti of Colorado; brother W.D. Crocker (Deborah) of Bolivar, Tennessee and Jimmy Crocker (Cindy) of Ocala, Florida; along with a dedicated friend and caregiver, Maida Kelly of Kerrville.

Thanks also to River Hills Nursing and Peterson Hospice for their care and compassion.

To the Family and Friends of Betty "BJ" Crocker,

"BJ" as I knew her was my first patient when I went out on my own, starting my business, Solbrig Hearing Center. I got to know her quite well over the years. At some point we lost contact with her. I was saddened to hear of her passing.

My condolences to those that cared for and loved her.

Sincerely,

Kevin
