Arthur Frausto Sr., 74, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024. He was born in Kerrville, TX to Carmen Collazo and Leonardo Frausto.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Leonar, Mary, and Eva; and 1 brother, Carlos.

He was a lifetime resident of Kerrville and attended Tivy High School. He was known by many in his neighborhood and around the community as a stand-up man. He was held in high regard by all who met him due to his kind and respectful demeanor.

He spent years working for Super S food market as a manager in the produce. And in his final years of working, he supervised car detailing at Cecil Atkission Motors, where he retired.

When he wasn't working, he spent his time with his loving wife, family, and throwing down on the grill with some of the best Texas barbecue you've ever eaten. It's what he enjoyed most in life, quality time with family. He brought laughter and joy to his surroundings. His presence will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife, Margarita Frausto; 1 sister, Linda; 3 daughters, Norma, Blanca, Alice; 4 sons, Arthur Jr., Pablo, Joe, Alfonso; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandkids.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, January 19, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
