Curtis Weise, 69, of Kerrville, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, in Kerrville. He was born in Yorktown, Texas to Charlie and Alice Weise on November 12, 1954. He married Debbie Weise on July 9, 1983, in Yorktown, Texas.

He went to school and graduated from Yorktown High School. He worked for the Street Department for the City of Kerrville for 25 years where he enjoyed working and helping the community. Curtis was one of those people who would give you the shirt off his back and do anything to help anyone that needed it. As a son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend he will be missed dearly. Fly high with the angels and look over us.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Alice Weise.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie; children, Christopher (Ann), Gwendolyn, and Shana; brothers, David (Linda) and Roy; grandchildren, Tristan, Talia, Austin, Haley, Tyler and Donovan; great-grandchildren, Lavaya, Draven, Dayne, D'Marion and Ja'zyla.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday February 24, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville and a second service at Massey Funeral Home in Yorktown, Texas at 11:00 a.m., Monday February 26, 2024.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Young, Peterson Hospice, Peterson Hospital, Dr. Barrington and all the staff.

I’m sending my sincere condolences to Curtis’s family. I worked in the Parks & Rec Dept and knew Curtis from there. The Street Dept would work with us for special events. I remember Curtis as very friendly, helpful and professional. Prayers of comfort to you.
