Pat put herself through school by working two jobs. She was able to get her master's degree in social work. She worked in Fort Worth and Brownwood before making her home in Kerrville. She had a private practice for over twenty years before retiring due to a cancer diagnosis.
She was a lover of animals and had Great Danes as well as numerous rescue dogs. She also loved cats. She spent many hours with the dogs at the river. Flat Rock was a very special place for her to take them.
She was an avid reader of anything she could find, mostly murder mysteries. Books to Share was her favorite store.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 23, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
She is survived by six living children (one deceased daughter), six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Freeman-Fritts to remember Pat's love for dogs.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Peterson Hospice, and particularly her incredible nurse, Sam.
Condolences may be sent at www.grimesfuneralchapels.com.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.

I will not forget Pat's kindness to me when I moved here in 2004 and needed an office space. I rented an office from Pat u
ntil she sold her building on Clay St.
May God bless your family as they grieve their loss and may you rest in peace.
