A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 6th, at 2:30 pm at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (Shelter 4) in San Antonio, Texas.

Reception will follow the graveside at Jardin's, which is close to Fort Sam Houston and the San Antonio Botanical Gardens.

To the Toole family, i had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Toole just a few weeks prior to his death. My name is Lucy Ramel & I met with him a couple of times to see how I could help in his care. During my visit with him, we shared our love for the Lord and had just a wonderful conversation. He gave me a Billy Graham book called Peace with God. Mr. Toole was such a sweet, sweet soul. I was looking forward to getting to know him, as he called & said, I was always welcome to come out & visit him. I know he was ready to go home & be with our Lord & Savior & see his wife again. Oh, how he loved her & he told me all about his boys & grandkids he helped raise. If there is anything I can do for his family plz do not hesitate to call me at 830-261-9577. I will miss him but it warms my heart to know he is home. May your memories bring you much comfort during this time. I offer my condolences to you all. And my life is better because I met your dad. Matt was a long time friend and will be missed terribly. We didn't see him all that often but had him for dinner on occasion and out to dinner sometimes too. He was a very generous person and would do just about anything for you if he was capable of doing it. He was a real gentleman that will missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mr. Toole was always so kind and generous. He was a favorite on the Meals on Wheels route. He always had time to visit & make sure you were ok. His favorite dessert was brownies & he said he never met one he did not like. We miss him greatly.
