Connie used to pet sit for my parents quite a bit in the late 80's and 90's.... When we moved to Fredericksburg in 1980, they met her while she was working at the Domino Parlor. My parents always requested her as their waitress every time they went. She was always so sweet... they fell in love with her the first time they met her....She made them feel welcome.
For me, she was always that smiling friendly face while working at our HEB. Always asking how my parents were and of course how their pets were that she so graciously took care of when they were out of town. I actually remember the day I had to tell her one of them had passed.... There are not enough kind words I could say about Connie. We will forever hold fond memories of her and am so saddened to hear of her passing. I know she will be missed.
