Virginia Antoinette Meyer, known to all as Jinny, 54, of Kerrville, TX, passed away on August 4th in Ingram, TX. She was born in Cameron, TX, to Thomas Luxton and Linda Drew on October 5, 1969. She married Bruce Meyer in 1992. Although they are no longer married, they remained lifelong friends.

She cherished the coast, beach trips, fishing, food, friends, and family. Jinny had an unparalleled love for the ocean, finding peace and joy in its rhythm. Fishing was her passion, a pastime she enjoyed sharing with loved ones. Her culinary skills were renowned, often bringing people together over delicious meals. She deeply valued her friends and family, cherishing the time spent with them. Her home was always open, a place where loved ones felt welcomed. While Jinny may not have been one to express her feelings openly, those close to her knew how much they meant to her through her actions and the special moments they shared.

Jinny was preceded in death by her step-father, Timothy Drew, and step-brother, Todd Drew.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Drew; father, Thomas Luxton, and his wife, Mary; sister, Chantel Reyes; brother, Bud Luxton, and his wife, Diane; sister, Darlene Drew; daughters, Danielle Emfinger and Courtney Meredith, and her husband, Craig; son, Bryce Meyer; as well as multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Jinny was also blessed with a multitude of friends who became family throughout her life.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on August 8th at New Beginnings Church, with Pastor Troy Way officiating.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Yvonne Haug, Hill Country Hospice, Tracey and Jason Maroney, and the many friends of Jinny who hosted a benefit to help with care-related costs.
