Linda Ann Blanchard, of Boerne, Texas, peacefully passed away in her sleep at home on September 4, 2024.
She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Annie Rita Boudreaux and John ''Boogie'' Blanchard.
Linda was preceded in death by both of her parents and her oldest sister, Annette Walters.
Linda is survived by her younger sister, Susan LeBlanc, and her brothers John and Jim Blanchard. Linda is also survived by her nieces and nephews, John Blanchard (Connie), Denise Walters, Chris Blanchard, Jim Blanchard, Jennifer Thompson (Gregg), Brent Blanchard, Jessica Henry (Casey), and Rebecca Mitchell (Justin).
Though she never had children of her own, she stepped up and was a second mom to Susan's children, Jennifer Thompson and Jessica Henry. Linda and Susan were best friends and lived together for the past 38 years. Most importantly in her life, she was the beloved Nana of Kayla Thompson, Riley Thompson, Cooper Henry, and Carson Henry.
Linda never met a stranger and made sure everyone had a good time and was well fed, as the kitchen in her apartment deserved a MICHELIN Star. She was the life of the party with an infectious laugh and her stories were legendary. To say life won't be the same without her is an understatement.
The family has elected to do a private memorial and appreciate the messages of love and support that they have received.
