SASSY was her way of living

She was so much more than all of those things!
She was a talented classical and rock pianist, even sitting in with local bands, she had a beautiful voice also. She enjoyed live music and befriended uncountable amount of musicians.

She was artistic, doing flower arrangements for weddings and baby showers, and recently creating jewelry art.

When her best friend died she helped support her daughter, son and grandchildren.

When our mother was ill, she took her in her home.

Folk Festival was a large part of her life, she volunteered and she worked in the office, she roamed the camps all night to hear musicians.

She was a great travel partner and loved a good road trip!

Her wit was sharp and quick and she was known for always having something funny to say , always intelligent.

She has 1000s of friends who love her kindness and ability to truly listen.

She had a soft spot for her nieces and nephews, never saying no to anything she could give them .

We will miss her so much, there is no replacement.

My prayers are with you all during this very sad time. Dayma was a very special friend when we were young girls growing up together in Kerrville. She shared her beautiful voice and gift as pianist with the Tivy concert choir with joy and kindness. I know she will be missed by everyone that knew her.

I did not have the honor of meeting or knowing your sister Dayma, but the words here describing her legacy are profound. What an incredible person who shared her joy and peace with the world. I strive to do the same. May the days ahead be slow enough for you to relax into those abundant memories she blessed you all with. Take her everywhere you go by sharing stories and let her smile be the constant impression in your thoughts. I am truly sorry for your loss.
A fellow lover of all humans,
Carrie
