Heather Anette Albertson, 76, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2024, in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was born in Canal Zone to Marvin and Edith Metheny on November 14, 1947.

Heather Anette Albertson was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Edith Metheny, a brother Marvin Metheny, Jr., her husband and love of her life, Raymond David Albertson, and a grandson Elijah J. Albertson.

Survivors include a sister, Saundra Neely; sons, Paul and Steven Metheny, John Albertson; daughter Jennifer and Tim Shoemaker; grandchildren, Charity and Jacob Metheny, Noah and Miguel Albertson, McKyah Albertson, Andrew and Christina Botello, Austin and Hailey Botello, Audrey and Roy Fuentes, Aowynn Asher; great-grandchildren, Maya and Zeke Botello, Carson and Paisley Fuentes.

She was a woman full of life, vigor, and fire in her soul with a hippie kind of spirit. She lived with an open-door policy for all that came by to see visit her. She loved being at home so she could play in the dirt, watch her bird feeders, get on the riding mower and tinker on things when needed around the house. She loved reading, crosswords, word search, being with her cats, cooking and baking as much as she could, especially when family came over. She always taught right from wrong to her children and grandchildren. She always tried to learn and teach someone something new everyday. She was definitely a pistol and will truly forever be missed, but she will always be on the porch in our eyes and souls.

A celebration of Heather's life will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Ingram City Park from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for friends and family.

A special thank you to the staff of Hill County Methodist Memorial Hospice and Meals on Wheels for the continued comfort and care provided.

My condolences are with this family. Heather was a spitfire all right. We had our run-ins. However we became friends and I learned a lot from her.
Prayers, Jo
