Violet Loftin Dennis, 90, of Kerrville, passed away on October 7, 2024, in Kerrville. She was born in Fort Worth to Marvin and Thelma Loftin. She married Walter M Dennis on June 18, 1954, in Fort Worth.
She graduated from college with a nursing degree, and she worked as an emergency room nurse, a school nurse and a college instructor in nursing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter and one son.
Survivors include one sister, one brother, one daughter, one son, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Methodist Hill Country Home Care & Hospice and River Hills Nursing and Rehab.

I am sorry to see that Vi has left us. I was honored to be her hair stylist for a number of years. She was such a sweet and intelligent lady. We had many great conversations. I am praying peace and comfort over all of you. God bless you.
