Eberto V. Montanez, 93, of Kerrville, passed away on October 13, 2024, in Kerrville. He was born in Hondo, TX, to Jose and Josefina Montanez on September 2, 1931. He married Angie Barron on November 25, 1956, in Kerrville.
He worked as a carpenter, mechanic, and a Mariachi for many years. He was a Veteran and served in the Army.
Eberto was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Montanez; daughter, Lisa Olivares; sons, Joe Montanez, Ray Montanez, Rudy Montanez and Robert Jr. Montanez.
Survivors include children, Jessie Montanez, Armando Montanez, Sammy Montanez and wife, Letty, Victor Montanez, Sylvia Montanez, Patricia Valero, Carmen Montanez and husband, Frank Faldet, Gloria Montanez and husband, Emet Ramos, Rita Montanez; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Peterson Hospice.
