Rev. Carla M. Golden (July 15, 1950 to November 4, 2024) passed away at her home in Kerrville, TX, with complications of Parkinson's Disease. She was 74.
With her husband, Rev. Bob Uhlar, she forged a remarkable 38-year partnership and love-affair. They visited 248 congregations during the 1990s presenting spirituality seminars. After their 2002 seminary graduation and ordination, they served Unity congregations in Hollywood, FL, Indianapolis, Tampa and Kerrville.
She is survived by her husband; and her brother, Patrick Criger of Kirbyville, MO.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Criger and mother, Betty Criger (nee McClure) of Howard, KS; and her first husband, Larry Golden of Oklahoma City.
Carla chose for her body to be cremated, with ashes sprinkled at undisclosed locations.

Carla found me at my worst time. Anger and bitterness spewed from me, yet she still showed me love, prayed for me and that made a big change in me. You will forever remain in my heart Carla.
