Tracee was a joyful soul with a gift for bringing beauty and order to the world. She had a deep passion for decorating, especially during the Christmas season, transforming every space into a magical celebration of love and light. Her creativity extended to crafting, where she poured her heart into handmade decorations that reflected her care and attention to detail. An organizational queen, she could find joy in bringing order to chaos and left a lasting impression in every space she graced.
Known to many as ''Momma Tee,'' Tracee loved children and young adults with a devotion that was nothing short of extraordinary. She was a mom, a stepmom, a spiritual mom, and a foster mom. (They were all her daughters to her.) Whether as a nanny, a one-on-one aide, or a surrogate ''mom'' to countless other young people, she opened her heart and home to those who needed love, guidance, and a place to belong. Her nurturing spirit and unconditional care made her a mother figure to so many, creating relationships that lasted a lifetime.
Tracee loved doing life with her husband, Doug. Together, they built a marriage centered on love, faith, and partnership. Tracee added the motto ''Better Together'' to their marriage, a phrase that defined their bond and their shared journey. From grand adventures to quiet moments at home, they truly were better together, and her love for Doug was evident in everything she did.
Above all, Tracee loved Jesus. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and the driving force behind her kindness, creativity, and adventurous spirit. She loved her family at Cross Kingdom Church and was a passionate supporter of Mercy Gate Ministries, Retreat 4 Kids, and the deaf community, fueled by her love for sign language. Tracee's vibrant relationship with Christ was evident in her interactions, as she ensured that everyone she met felt His love through her.
Tracee is survived by her beloved husband, Doug Guard, and her daughters: Breea Rogalla, Danielle Siggeman (Max), Devin Davidson (Luke), Heather Thompson (Jon), Darrian Knotts, Ashley Cross, and Torrey Mauldin (Preston). She also leaves behind her brother, Troy Schulz, and her father, Larry Schulz, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and many friends she considered family. She is reunited in heaven with her mother, Kathee Schulz (nee Noyer).
Her legacy is one of love, generosity, and devotion. Tracee's heart was always open to others, and her home was a place where everyone felt like family. She left her mark on everyone she met, ensuring that they knew the love and grace of Jesus through her actions and words.
Tracee's life will be celebrated at Cross Kingdom Church, 3044 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed at crosskingdom.org/live .
Instead of flowers, donations can be made in Tracee's honor to Mercy Gate Ministries (mercygateministries.com, 3033 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028), Cherokee Home for Children (www.chc4kids.org, PO Box 295, Cherokee, TX 76832), Aid the Silent (www.aidthesilent.com, 8126 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209) or toward her medical expenses through Cross Kingdom Church (please include "Tracee" in the memo of the check or online giving.)
Tracee's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a gift to this world, and we rejoice in the hope of her eternal life with Jesus.

I consider myself so blessed to have known Tracee. I was always amazed at her organizational talents. I was lucky enough to have been able to travel with her and a group of friends to Honduras and we had a fabulous time. Those memories will always be with me.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Heaven gained a truly beautiful soul.

My heart is missing a huge piece but I know she is rejoicing now and finally at home. Heaven shines just a little bit brighter with her there. Tracee brought light into any room she was in. She loved those who were close to her so very deeply and for those that wronged her, she prayed for them to find healing and peace. She loved to decorate and make a house a home. She loved the beach and to travel. She loved going on cruises. There is too much to even write down. I will miss you forever #1. I LOVE YOU!

Tracee loved unconditionally and forever. Her talents for organizing and decorating were beyond amazing. She was gifted in so many ways, but the gift she wanted to be remembered by was her love of the Lord and His gift of eternal life. That was a gift she wanted everyone to accept. If you knew Tracee, you knew Jesus. I thank you, my sister, for the blessing of ALL your gifts.
