David Luther Adams, 83, passed away on December 5, 2024, in Kerrville, Texas. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 7, 1941. His parents were Luther Sylvester Adams and Ethel Louise Avent. He married Linda Marie Linn on December 16, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was a veteran and served in the 569th Strategic Missile Squadron in the Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was self-employed for a number of years raising and showing Appaloosa horses. He also worked as a master electrician in San Antonio and as an electrician for Shelton Ranch in Kerrville, Texas.

He is survived by his spouse, Linda Marie Adams; daughter, Donna Marie Adams-Shomette; son-in-law, Timothy Clark Shomette; and grandchildren, Caitlin Marie Shomette and Brandon Kyle Shomette.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville. Family will be present from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on December 11, 2024, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with honors in San Antonio, Texas.
