Ray and I both worked at Kerrville State Hospital, but in different departments. He shared with me one day in 1989 a thought that he said had been a guiding idea for him in living life - always be grateful. Ray told me that someone, and I wish I could remember who he told me - had given him that thought. For 35 years I have remembered that conversation and have tried to live my life being grateful - no matter what was happening to me or around me. So I think of Ray often and will until the end of my life. Ray was a special person and just thinking of him now - I can hear his voice and it brings me peace. I am grateful for his life and have always felt blessed for knowing him. God's peace. Bunny Bond
