Dorothy Davidson, 96, of Kerrville, Texas, died February 20, 2025, at Peterson Health Hospital in Kerrville.
Dorothy was born November 14, 1928, to Frank and Eliza (Swanker) Carl. She was united in marriage to Robert E. Davidson on June 7, 1958. Together they raised three children, Cynthia McRae (deceased), Linda (Jeff) Keag and Jeffrey Davidson.
Dorothy worked at Colona Grade School as secretary to the principal for over 20 years. After she and Bob retired, they traveled in their RV summering in Wisconsin and wintering in Texas.
Dorothy made Monk's Cloth Afghans for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will always be known to her ''grands'' as Grandma Mickey as she was four days older than Mickey Mouse.
Dorothy is survived by her husband; daughter, Linda (Jeff); son, Jeff; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cindy; daughter-in-law, Kathy; two sisters; and two brothers.
