The first time I met Sid, 20 years ago, my cheeks hurt from laughter. I had never met anyone so infectious with his amazing smiles & joyful nature. We have kept in touch over the years. He was heavily on my mind 2 days before his passing. So saddened to hear the news. Our deepest condolences to his family. Sid will be greatly missed. Of course he would tell us all to keep smiling...

Sid was a longtime friend. As editor of Undercar Digest, an automotive trade magazine, Sid gave presentations at nearly a dozen of our trade shows. I've kept in touch with him since my retirement and knew he was having a tough go of it. He was a great guy and a great friend. Please accept my condolences.

Today, I'm heartbroken to say goodbye to my incredible friend, Sidney C. Hurlbert. Sid was more than just a friend to Jimmy and me; he was a shining light who spread joy and kindness wherever he went.

As a renowned expert in customer service seminars, Sid lived by his mantra: 'Kill 'em with kindness.' He believed that a smile and laughter were the nourishment our souls needed. Sid had an extraordinary gift – he could turn strangers into friends in an instant.

I'll cherish the memories of our time together, filled with Sid's infectious jokes and warm smile. Rest in peace, dear Sid. Your legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in our hearts.
