Bob was a loving family man having a heart full of gold, giving, love, and utmost care for others. Known as a man of many jokes who never met a stranger. If anyone needed a lift or smile, Bob was there. Bob was the best family man being the best husband, father, grandfather, uncle and most important best friend to his wife and children. He is missed dearly and will be forever loved.

He worked in retail managing grocery stores and supervising various territories for HEB, Super S Foods, and other large grocery chains. He served in the U.S. Army as part of the reserves. Bob loved to play golf, bowl, travel, and most importantly to him was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Mihatsch, Sr. and his mother Rosie Anne Mihatsch both of Temple, Texas; his sister, Josephine Anne Camp of Temple, Texas; his brother, Joseph A. Mihatsch, Jr. of La Grange, Texas; and his brother, Frankie Leo Mihatsch of Temple, Texas.

Bob's survivors are his wife of near 60 years, Donna Gayle Mihatsch of Kerrville, Texas; daughter, Deidra Anne Gallagher of Kerrville, Texas; son, Robert Brandon Mihatsch of The Woodlands, Texas; sister, Rose Marie Abel of Temple, Texas; grandsons, Hunter Lee and Holden Doyle Gallagher both of Kerrville, Texas; granddaughter, Hyleigh Gayle Gallagher of Kerrville, Texas; great-grandson, Beckem Lee Gallagher; and great-granddaughters, Bryleigh Grace Gallagher and Hazel AnneMarie Centeno both of Kerrville, Texas; his loved dog, Bella; and brothers-in-law, Jimmy Gommert, Ronnie Gommert, and Jay Don Gommert; and sister-in-law, Cookie Gommert; several loving nephews and nieces on Mihatsch and Gommert sides; cousin; and countless extended family.

Sending peace and love to the family and all who loved him. I didn’t realize Bob was born in Texas City. I was too. I didn’t meet him until I moved to Temple, Texas where he and his family were patients in the dental office I work at. We were reacquainted when I moved to Kerrville and he waited on me at a store he worked at. Small world. RIP Bob! 🙏

Mr. Mihatsch was one of a kind💙 My very first boss when I turned 16. Fantastic leader and always inspired me to follow my dreams. He loved his family and adored his grand kids and great grandkids. Sending lots of love, hugs, thoughts and prayers to his family.
