On the morning of May 9, 2025, Linnie Elizabeth Allen Arquette - affectionately known as Bea and lovingly called Granky by her grandchildren - was welcomed into the arms of her Savior. She passed peacefully at home in Medina, Texas, surrounded by the love and presence of her family. A devout Christian, Bea lived her life with grace, compassion, and unwavering faith, and we rejoice in knowing she is now at rest in her eternal heavenly home.

Born on July 16, 1933, in Medina, Texas, Bea was the cherished daughter of Willie Maude Mayfield and Clarence Chester Allen. She was the youngest of seven siblings, including Baby Boy Allen, Morris Lee Allen, Arminta Francis Allen Rogers, Mona Alberta Allen Seale, and twins Calvin C. Allen and Alvin W. Allen. Bea was deeply connected to her family and held a lifelong bond with each of her brothers and sisters.

Bea was the proud and loving mother of two daughters, Nancy and Pam, and the heart of a growing and vibrant family. She was blessed with 1 grandson (Shane) and 3 granddaughters (Erin, Jayme, and Jessica), 3 great-grandsons (Bryan, Connor, and Cooper) and 5 great-granddaughters (Kyla, Stella, Sadie, Bellamy, and Emery), and lived to see 2 great-great-grandsons (Waylon and Ace). Her legacy also lives on through 6 nieces, 6 nephews, and numerous extended family members who were all touched by her kindness, humor, and steadfast love.

Throughout her life, Bea served her country with distinction through her work in civil service. She retired from the Colonel's group at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, where she was honored with several awards recognizing her dedication and excellence. She was known for her integrity, diligence, and warm spirit.

In 2004, after a lifetime of service and family devotion, Bea moved back to her beloved hometown of Medina, where she spent her final years surrounded by the hills she loved and the family who adored her.

Her faith in God was the cornerstone of her life. Bea's love for Christ shone through in every word, every action, and every prayer. Though we grieve her passing, we take comfort in knowing she has been joyfully reunited with loved ones gone before and now walks in glory with her Lord and Savior.

Bea's memory will be treasured forever by those who knew her. Her legacy of faith, love, and resilience will continue to inspire generations to come.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Medina, Texas on Thursday, May 15, 2025. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. After the service, the graveside ceremony will take place at Oak Rest Cemetery in Medina. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at First Baptist Church immediately following the graveside service to share memories and fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to First Baptist Church of Medina or your favorite charity.
