Kathryn Renee ''Sally'' Juenke, 83, of Kerrville, passed away on July 12, 2025, in Kerrville, Texas. She was born in Mason, Texas to Hollie Monk and Maude Essie Smart. She married Charles Donald Juenke on November 29, 1958, in Center Point, Texas. She met Don when she worked at the concession stand at the Arcadia Theater and Don ran the movie projector.

She went to school at Center Point High School. Sally was a homemaker and babysat children for many years. She was also a teacher's aide for Kerrville ISD and Children's Corner at First Presbyterian Church. Sally's passion was taking care of the children. She helped watch all her grandchildren and several of her great-grandchildren.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Hollie Monk and Maude Monk; her brothers, Kenneth Kensing, Sr., LeeRoy Kensing; and her daughter, Donna Lenard.

Survivors include her husband Don; her son, Mike Juenke and wife Laura; son-in-law, Art Lenard; grandchildren, Dustin Lenard and wife Jessica, Craig Lenard and wife Ashley, Tanner Juenke and wife Samantha and Mikala Flores and husband Marcus; great-grandchildren, Blaine and Braker Lenard, Sofia and Boston Bonine, Ryler and Zayne Juenke, Harper and Case Lenard and Maisie Flores; and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 16th from 5pm to 7pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 17th at 11am at Kerrville Church of Christ with Scott Warner officiating. Burial will be held privately at Garden of Memories.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Lenard, Craig Lenard, Tanner Juenke, Marcus Flores, Blaine Lenard and Bubba Garrett.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Peterson Regional Hospital nurses Jessica and Kate.

I am a retired educator and remember Kathryn as a gentle lady. Condolences to the family. I know she will be missed.
