It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Blake Carpenter and family due to the recent, unprecedented Hill Country floods.

Blake Ariel Carpenter, 3, of Dripping Springs, Texas was called to the Lord in the early hours of July 4th, 2025 in Hunt, Texas. She was born in Austin, Texas on October 6th, 2021.

Blake was our little fire cracker. She was a bold, full-of-life little girl who always kept her mom and dad on their toes. Blake loved her mama and never missed a chance to follow her around. Blake had a love of goldfish, Piglet, marshmallows, and princesses. She loved the color pink, singing and dancing with her brother, and loved going to swim at grandma and grandpa's house. It was obvious that Blake adored and loved her family by the excitement exuded by her big, cheeky grin and loving hugs.

Blake attended preschool at the Primrose School of Dripping Springs where she made friends with both her classmates and teachers. She was a shining, joyful light that brightened the room.

Celebration of Life to be held in the coming weeks in Dripping Springs, TX.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Ranger Derek who has graciously been with us throughout this experience and the numerous medical doctors and staff for saving our lives. Special thanks to all the first responders and the citizens of Hunt, Ingram, and Kerrville who have reached out, donated, volunteered, and prayed for our family. Words cannot express how much gratitude we have toward people across the Hill Country and our great state of Texas and beyond. We also would not be able to do any of this without our beautiful family and friends- thank you all.

What a beautiful little girl! Although we have never met, I wanted to reach out and let you know that I am praying for you and your family. Your traumatic experience and the death of your precious daughter has touched my heart deeply. I was blessed to spend my childhood years in Hunt, Texas. The people in the Texas Hill Country are a solid, tight knit, genuine and loving people. The love for God, family and others is so deeply embedded into the hearts of those who live there. I know that your loss touched the community deeply……even those who, like me, do not live there anymore. I pray that the peace of God would guard your hearts and minds, and that His deep love for each of you would minister to your tender hearts. Your beautiful daughter will never be forgotten.
