Janice Tyler, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, nurse, florist, and dear friend, passed peacefully, surrounded by family.

Born and raised in Pasadena, Texas, Janice grew up in a lively home with four siblings and countless foster brothers and sisters - over fifty children found love, care, and guidance in her parents' home. From an early age, she learned the value of kindness, compassion, and seeing every person as a friend, never a stranger.

Janice was a woman of many talents and passions. In her youth, she was a competitive roller skater, proudly competing at the national level in 1968. Her creative spirit flourished in the family's floral business, where she worked alongside her loved ones to bring beauty and joy to countless weddings, celebrations, and memorials.

After her father's health declined, Janice pursued a new calling - returning to school to become a nurse. In this role, she touched countless lives, offering not only skilled care but genuine compassion to patients, families, and colleagues alike.

Her warmth, empathy, and unwavering dedication left an enduring mark on all who knew her. Janice's outgoing personality made her the life of any gathering. She was the biggest cheerleader - not only for her children, but for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends' children, and truly anyone who needed encouragement. To her, family was never just about blood - it was built on love, and she made sure everyone felt like they belonged. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she made it magical. No one was left without a place to go or a table to sit at; her home was always open, filled with laughter, light, and the joy of togetherness.

Janice didn't ask for much, but when she did, it was for experiences that brought her family together. One of her most cherished requests was a trip to Las Vegas - a place that reminded her of her younger days and her father, a spirited betting man who could often be found running the tables. With a sparkle in her eye and a laugh that filled the room, Janice embraced those moments, proving she was always a little wild at heart.

Her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment with them. She lived her life as a God-fearing woman, guided by her faith, her love for others, and her unshakable belief in the power of kindness.

Janice is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Tyler; daughter, Lauren Pedraza; sons, Adam Currie and his spouse, Michelle; Curt Tyler and his spouse, Stephanie; and Josh Tyler and his spouse, Priscilla. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Chazstinee Kelly and her spouse, Raydale; Keithan Perez and his spouse, Kortnie; Trevor Currie and his spouse, Shay; Marley Tyler, Hayden Currie, Mia Tyler, Ethan Tyler, Landon Tyler, Olivia Tyler, Dylan Tyler, and Cooper Tyler. She leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Vaylor Kelly, Calvree Kelly, and Levi Currie.

Janice leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and joy that will continue to bloom in the lives she touched.
