Jimmy W. Lacy Jr., 78, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at his home.
Jim was born on December 7, 1946, in Houston, Texas, and was raised on the family ranch near Eldorado, Texas.
He served in the United States Navy as a boiler tech and a technician striker on the USS Cogswell. After serving in Vietnam, he worked for many years as an equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lacy; his mother, Marion Lacy; brothers, Charles Lacy and Garvin Lacy; and a sister, Janie Lacy.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Lacy of the home; a sister-in-law, Diane Bolin; step-children, Kevin Gunter and wife, Patty, Rick Gunter and wife, Becky, Carl Kraycheek, Thomas Kraycheek and Joyce Kraycheek. He was also blessed by a wonderful group of friends, Brad, Jackie, Jerry, Diane, Michele, Monte, Steve, Gary and Della.
