Mark Johnston, of Hunt, TX, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at his home in Hunt. He was born in Billings, MT. He was then adopted by his parents, Daniel Lee Johnston and Candace B. Bough on July 29, 1969.

Growing up, he lived in a variety of places. He graduated from Centennial Adult High School in Fort Collins, CO on October 23, 1987.

He worked at an assortment of different places, as one might call him ''Handyman Mark.'' He could fix or build anything. He enjoyed fishing, jamming out to music, and spending time with loved ones.

Mark was preceded in death by Candace Bough.

Mark's legacy will continue on through his father, D. Lee Johnston; his brother, Scott Johnston; his son, Daniel Johnston; and his daughter, Rebecca Johnston; as well as his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, October 24, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Mark will be cremated and with loved ones.
