Juan P. Flores was born on January 1, 1936, and on December 23, 2025, he was called home to be with his Lord. While we grieve his passing, we take comfort in knowing that his life was rich with purpose, faith, and love - and that his legacy will continue through the many lives he touched.
Juan was preceded in death by his beloved son, David J. Flores; his daughter, Cynthia Andrade, and her husband Santos Andrade. Though their absence was a sorrow he carried, his faith never wavered. He trusted God's promises even through loss, and he continued to live a life of service, compassion, and unwavering belief.
He is survived and deeply missed by his children: Juanita (George) Baroody, Joe (Rocio) Flores, Rachel (Michael) Fifer, Juan Erik Flores; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was a steady presence, a guiding voice, and a source of strength for his family - always leading with love, humility, and prayer.
One of the defining aspects of Juan's life was his devotion to God's work. He dedicated over 20 years to missionary service and ministry with Southern Oaks and Mission de Candelilla. This was not just something he did - it was who he was. He answered God's call with faithfulness, sharing hope, encouragement, and the message of Christ wherever he went. Countless lives were changed simply because Juan showed up, listened, prayed, and loved without condition.
Juan lived a good life - a life that mattered. He changed lives through kindness, prayer, and obedience to God's calling. Whether through his ministry, his family, or quiet moments of encouragement, he left people better than he found them.
While we will miss his presence, his voice, and his wisdom, we rejoice in knowing that he now rests in eternal peace. His race is complete, his faith rewarded, and his joy made full in the presence of the Lord he served so faithfully.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, January 2, 2026, at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Dr. Joe Taylor, pastor of Southern Oaks Church, officiating. The burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
Pallbearers will be Joe Flores, Larry Sanchez, Tito Andrade, Ricky Vasquez, Isaiah Ramirez, and Anthony Sanchez; (Honorary: George Baroody and Jacob Flores).
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. James Young and Nurse James from Hospice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
