Wyona Tita Faustina Garcia Simone passed away February 12, 2026. She was born March 19, 1941, to Dr. Jose Antonio Garcia and Wyona ''Bo'' (Bowen) Garcia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Jose Antonio Garcia; sister, Roxanna Garcia; and brother, Jules Mark Garcia.

She is survived by her children, Paul (Martha) Simone and Camillia (Richard) Simone; beloved grandchildren, Barrett and Nate Simone; her brother, Dr. Jose Antonio (Elina) Garcia Jr.; as well as other family and friends.

I was privileged to meet Tita when she was my uncle’s companion aide at the VA hospital in Kerrville. I always knew my uncle was treated with kindness and compassion. Our friendship grew over the years & across the miles. I will miss our phone calls and conversations about the news & politics. So glad we shared the same views. Rest in peace my friend.❤️
