Mr. Welborn was first and foremost a Christian. He loved to share the message of salvation with others. He would share the truth that all have sinned and our sins have separated us from a righteous and holy God. But through His mercy, grace, and love, He made a way that we may be reconciled to Him by the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. This eternal salvation is a free gift for all who believe on the name of the Lord Jesus.

Here are some Bible verses to light our path:

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:8-10

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:16-17

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Our prayer for those reading this:

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:14-21

The Lord placed Mr. Welborn in the ministry of spreading His Word by giving out many Bibles through the years. He shared the salvation and love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to as many as would receive it.
